The Flash (2003)

So - it's different. Barry goes back in time and instead of being himself back then, he meets himself back then. And has to team up with himself to save the universe. Rather, more than one universe. And meets Batman. The Michael Keaton Batman. Who still looks amazing. I noticed in this time line and in this universe, Bruce Wayne is the one that helps the Flash with his technology. Whereas in the Marvel time line, it's Iron Man who helps the Flash. I think what was said before should be said for any super hero or person or Doctor or anyone who goes back in time: even stepping on a blade of grass will change everything. Small things that you change in the past will change the future. It will take some getting used to the new Supergirl. I'm so used to the CW's Supergirl. This one is strong but the charm is not there. And Zod?! Wow. And there are lessons here. Batman teaches us that practice makes perfect. Practice with all his toys makes sure that he stays alive. The Flas

Trolls Band Together

OMG The music! Like, totally! The music! I enjoyed this movie so much for the music! And I liked the other two Trolls movies that I've seen, but this? Yeah, the music. It's got a story, too. Branch and Poppy travel with friends to save Branch's brother, Floyd, from the famous duo Velvet and Veneer. They are using Floyd's power of talent to be famous. They, themselves, have no talent, and they kidnapped Floyd and are using him until they can capture all the Trolls from the boyband, BroZone. The adventures these guys go through is just great. They have Viva, John Dory, Spruce, Clay and Tiny Diamond. Crimp is an interesting character, and unfortunately you don't get to see a lot of her. She is the assistant to Velvet and Veneer, but she needs a new job. But, yeah, the music - very catchy. Very clear. Very fun to bop your head to. Go NSYNC on this one! I, personally, will be finding this album on Spotify and listening for a while.

Swingers

I finally saw all of "Swingers" and just didn't see a plot. Not really. It's two guys who hang out with a bunch of other guys. And one guy, Mike, is a comedian and he's depressed over this girl and his guy friends are trying to get him out in the world and ask other girls on dates. And they hit Vegas. And they have all kinds of adventures with some really good music. And the only time I saw swing dancing was later in the movie, closer to the end. I get the idea of guys fighting one night and later on playing video games in the same apartment and drinking and having a blast and what not, I get that. I understand Mike's emotions of missing this woman so much as to hold up in his apartment for days going through an old box of memories (I just wonder what he's doing for money all that time). But over all this is not my best movie to watch. I like that Happy is in it (Jon Favreau) and silly Vince Vaughn and a guy named Sue (Patrick Van Horn) and Ron Livingston

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3

I need to watch it again. My husband was laughing so much during this movie, I just have to watch it again. He is Italian/German and his grandmother on his mom's side spoke little English. And he connected to the family invasiveness of the Greeks in this movie. He could relate: and he had stories to tell me himself! But this movie - I love Nia Vardalos as Toula. Her character has grown as a mother, as a sister, as a daughter. For the love of her father that has passed, she heads off to Greece for a family reunion and a vacation that she desperately needs. Her mother fades in and out of remembering who is around her, but her long term memory brings tears to the audience. There's a lot less of John Corbett as Ian in this movie. The focus is on their daughter, Paris, and her want to keep a secret from her parents, and her want to keep a distance from the love of her life. This movie introduced the mayor, Victory, played by Melina Kotselou, and she did a great job as a quirky inst
