The Marvels

I'm very glad my husband asked many times to go to see this movie. Women working together can conquer anything. Or even just working together, men and women, can make anything work. And Ms. Marvel fan-girls out and it's really cute. Captain Marvel has to realize that she must work together with these two other women in order to accomplish all goals, not just her own. And Captain Rambeau has to come to grips with the past and face her future. And yes, this movie has sacrifices. Yes, this movie has a lot of action. And yes, the villain is selfish, but not totally so. She wants to help her people. She blames Captain Marvel. And will kill, actually kill, anyone who gets in her way of revenge. It does take the three Marvels to stop her, but at what cost? I'm glad I saw the tv show "Ms. Marvel" before seeing this because it explains a lot of the dynamic with Kamala's family and how much they love her, but have a different idea of what her powers are for. Very glad I saw "Wandavision" to know the beginnings of Captain Rambeau and where her powers came from. And I'm glad I saw "Captain Marvel" to know how she left her world, her friends, her "niece", and broke her promise. Oh and flerken. So much flerken! I loved the flerken! So glad there are more of them! Lots of comedy in this movie and I always like seeing Sam Jackson in his Fury role. It's a fun movie to watch and it preps the audience for the next chapter in the Marvel cinematic universe....
