The Batman

Not a bad movie at all. And I'm very much a Batman fan. I love his mystique. I love his look. I love the way he battles with his body and his mind. And the brooding. Always with the brooding. Robert Pattinson did a good job. He's not what anyone would expect to be cast as the "dark knight", but he did a fantastic job. I wanted more Alfred, though. I wanted more of the father-like qualities to come out and be seen. Alfred was there for Bruce throughout his life and their back and forth shows it in other movies and tv shows. Not sure if Selina was in love with her roommate, or if that was just a "roommate". I wanted that relationship clearer. Cause, you know, best friends will kill for each other, too. I really, REALLY loved the fighting: Bruce is definitely trained and Selina shows she's taken some classes herself! And they fight very well together! And the cats. I love the cats. The story itself is well-done. I had no idea who the killer was! The steps and the murders were just too well plotted that I just couldn't figure it out! And Bruce has a mind to be a detective, and Alfred is a big help for him. I enjoyed this movie. And Colin freaking Farrell!!! I had no idea! And I did enjoy Gordon as well. There is a trust and a partnership there. I'm guessing the two years prior that Bruce was talking about in the beginning of the movie sealed their friendship. Just, very well done!
