Ok, this one was cute. Go Disney for coming up with something cute and strange and a villain for villain's sake! I mean, this guy...this guy was evil. And the motivation was truly selfish and I love it! Mabel loves animals as a little girl. But she wants to set them free which not all the adults agree with. Poor Mabel visits with her grandmother a lot as a little girl, especially when she gets into trouble. Her grandmother introduces her to a pond area that has a lot of creatures. Mabel learns to love these creatures and how they coexist. As she grows up, Mabel takes her love a little far: she is bound and determined to keep the little pond area free of man. One man, in particular, wants to destroy the area and put in a connecting highway. This little town of Beaverton must have a beaver to help all the animals coexist in this area.
