Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F

 Just on a whim, I decided to put this movie on as we ate dinner. Within 10 minutes my husband and I were laughing. The music was good, reminiscent of the 80s "Beverly Hills Cop" soundtrack, the cameos were fantastic, everyone a little older now, and there was a lot of excitement and adventure. The beginning of the movie shows Axel in Chicago, being himself and getting into trouble. But he always comes through for the boys in blue. But over in California, someone gets into trouble, someone is threatened, and his friend, Billy, calls Axel to let him know. Usually, Axel will just give advice or listen or both, but when it's his daughter, Axel heads out west again. But who is threatening his daughter? And why? And will the trio get back together again to solve a new mystery? And can they all stay alive? It was a great trip down memory lane and a wonderful introduction to new characters as well. Those who enjoyed the first movies will love seeing Eddie Murphy, John Ashton, Judge Reinhold, Paul Reiser and even Bronson Pinchot in their fabulous forms!

 Wow! Wow and wow! This was my 2nd favorite next to the original "Knives Out". A priest is re-assigned to a place he never could have been prepared for: the devil is alive and well in the church, on the grounds, in the people and in the plans. Josh Brolin plays Monsignor Jefferson Wicks, the local head priest and "God" to most folks. They don't jump unless he says "how high." Holidate

 hehehhe ok, I honestly just put this movie on to have something in the background while I was cooking dinner. Lo and behold, my husband sat down on the futon and started watching it and laughing uncontrollably. This girl has a mom trying to get her into a relationship, any relationship. And she's got an Aunt who loves any male at all. The leading lady, Emma Roberts, who plays Sloane, runs into Luke Bracey, who plays Jackson Pieretti, with one of the sexiest Aussie accents ever. These two agree to be each other's dates every holiday. And I mean EVERY holiday in the U.S. But Jackson states he's not interested in her, not seriously, and so Sloane goes along with it. But what happens when some else is interested in Sloane? And what happens when Jackson sleeps with someone else? Does it matter? They aren't in a relationship. They're in an agreement. The Gambler: The Adventure Continues

This movie had to do with a different kind of gambling: on people On lives. Poor Brady Hawkes loses his so to an evil man named Charlie. Charlie and his gang hold up a train and a rich man, Stowbridge, was supposed to have money on that train. He didn't. And Charlie and his gang snatch poor Jeremiah and hold onto him until the train makes it to its destination, and a bank, where Stowbridge must hand money over to the gang in order to let Jeremiah live. Brady's not having it. Him and Billy get their own gang together and that includes the beautiful and sly Kate Muldoon. It was so good to see Linda Evans as a tough ol' broad in this movie. I'm so used to seeing her as a beautiful and intelligent woman who marries Blake Carrington on "Dynasty". Altogether they ride and fight and try to figure out a way to get Jeremiah out of Charlie's clutches. It's a good western. I think Kenny Rogers did pretty good with this series.
