 I've watched the first episode twice! Not only because my friend, Jason, is in it, but because this is about revenge. Yes, dead things help plants grow! Doesn't matter what died, but something has to die to make things grow. It's a Scorpio thing, really. Four main characters make this so ideal: Alice, played by AnnaSophia Robb, is married, she's a school teacher and she has a golden retriever. But then, the puppy goes missing and her collar shows up. What happened? And who is at fault? Then there is Birdie, played by Melissa Fumero. She's rich, she's married, and she has a secret: she has a drinking problem. Which gets her community service with the Garden Society. On the side, she's got her own secret which involves a teenager. Catherine, played by Aja Naomi King, not only sports some excellent matte lipstick, but with a smokin' body, tries to attract her hard-working husband while getting some action with her colleague, Gary, played by Saamer Usmani. ...

 I was really surprised by this movie. Not only did I not know there was a movie after I watched all the episodes from the tv series, I didn't know there were so many early and current at the time stars in the movie. Donald Sutherland, Luke Perry, Hilary Swank, David Arquette and Pee Wee Herman himself, Paul Reubens. It was just too funny most of the time and not as gory as I though it would be. I do miss the vampires turning to dust like they do in the TV show. Saw lots of gymnastics with the lead, Buffy, played by Kristy Swanson. This definitely helped her as she turned into the vampire-fighting femme fatale. Donald Sutherland played their version of Giles, the name of Merrick. There were so many moves in this movie that could have been made but weren't, but maybe that was for the sake of the movie itself. Reubens played Amilyn, the side-kick to the lord vampire Lothos, played by Rutger Hauer. Reubens took all the opportunities in the movie to be funny and just ran with them....

 This is an older movie, from 1967 starring Fred MacMurray, Tommy Steele, and very young John Davidson and Lesley Ann Warren. This young lady always loses suitors because her brothers are over-protective and her father scares people away. He does, after all, have pet alligators living in the house. But one day, young Cordy finds a man, a wonderful young man with dreams and ambition, and that man is Angie. They fall in love and they are engaged, and this sets everyone on edge. Angie's mom doesn't really care for Cordy's family, and Cordy's family doesn't really care for Angie's mom. Now what are they gonna do? Welp, through all this, the new butler, John Lawless, being the good Irishman that he is, helps the family out. And I really hope he's getting paid for it. He handles alligators and gets a black eye from a brawl at a local pub (Irish pub) and so many other things go on but John Lawless is their man. He's all for the family that he never got an offic...

 Robin Williams did a very good job as Professor Philip Brainard. He's smart, his heart is in saving the university, and he's in love with Sara Reynolds, played by Marcia Gay Harden. Granted, the movie begins with the 3rd time that Sara is going to wait at the church for Philip but he is on the brink of a wonderful discovery so yes, he forgets. And Philip's robot assistant, Weebo, has feelings for him. At this time in the 1990s it was a stretch for a robot to have emotions, but Philip realizes it later on in the movie. There has to be a villain for me to enjoy a movie, and this one had 5: Wilson Croft,  Chester Hoenicker,  Smith and Wesson and Bennett. Wilson Croft has always hated Philip and has always been attracted to Sara. He waits for his opportunity to swoop in and take Sara from Philip. He's slick in this movie and perfectly played by Christopher McDonald. Bennett is wonderfully played by a very young Wil Wheaton. Wheaton didn't pass Philp's class and was...
