Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie

 I really enjoyed this movie. My husband swore he's seen it, but the beginning of the movie just re-caps the very first episode. Monk, who is supposed to have written a book, just didn't. And now, stuck in a bad situation, all of a sudden can not pay for Trudy's daughter's wedding. The bride is brought to tears when her fiancé was murdered. She asks Monk to help her and the search begins. Who killed him? And why? What was the motive? And now, Molly has no future husband. Again, why? This movie brings back so many folks from the original series and a new captain on the police force who believes in Mr. Monk. This movie is a tear-jerker and for those who love a good "who-done-it", this will be a nice roller-coaster ride!

 yeah, I really enjoyed this! And not just because it had music! The story line was good, Wonka was not always treated well, and there were 7 villains, not just one! And they all worked together to keep Wonka down! But will Wonka be kept down? He cries a lot in the movie. And deservedly so. And he befriends Noodle, played by Calah Lane, who is doomed to be in the wash house for the rest of her days. There's a comedian down there, an accountant, a quiet girl and an engineer. Good people, just tricked by the Mrs. , played by Olivia Colman. Wonka is definitely a magician of sorts, but he has a love for chocolate. This is so interesting to see where he got his beginnings and the way he makes people feel along the way. And the Oompa Loompas....yes, they have their own island. Yes, they keep to themselves. The American Society of Magical Negroes

 I saw this movie and wanted more. I wanted more of the magical world. I wanted more adventure. I wanted higher stakes. I just wanted - more. A young black artist, Aren, fails to sell his yarn art. Bartender, Roger, notices this young man has a heart and invites him into the world of magic and friendship. Black people from all over the U.S. are in this magical community and they are taught to make sure white people are ok. Because if white people are ok, then black people can be ok. Aren decides to join this magical community and they get him a job. A really NICE job, next to his client: Jason. Aren needs to make sure Jason is ok. Work wise and life wise. The Fall Guy

 Wow! What a play on words! Not only is Colt Seavers, played by Ryan Gosling, a stunt man, a Fall Guy, but also in the movie he takes the blame for a murder he didn't commit! A Fall Guy! Well done! And for many movies and through his career he works with Jody, played by Emily Blunt, and they crush on each other but does anything ever happen? Is it regret for them both? Will they re-unite to save a movie? So much going on in this movie and so much action within action! The Action on the set and the action in the real world mix! And the best side kick I've seen in a long time, Dan Tucker, played by Winston Duke. He's amazing and on the side of right the entire movie!
