 So, I finished the first season of "Andor". As a Star Wars fan from back in the day, I thought I'd check it out. The stand-out performances are not really of the character Andor, played by Diego Luna. My first outstanding character was Kino Loy, played by Andy Serkis. Wonderful actor, who also does voice over. His character was so intense and he was all about being the Papa Bear in the prison. Second was Dedra Meero, played by Denise Gough. She's an imperial and she wants to do her job and proof statistics and logic. She's determined, but she needs to be careful or she's gonna get herself killed. Fiona Shaw was excellent as well, playing Andor's adoptive mom, Maarva Andor. Potter fans recognize her as Aunt Petunia but here, she's a feisty and determined secret Rebel leader. This series was slow for me. It didn't get going until later on in the season. But over-all, the wonderful performances couldn't save the writing. I didn't even want "more" of the story. I kinda just wanted it to end. But, we'll see what the fate of Andor comes to in the future.

 yeah, I really enjoyed this! And not just because it had music! The story line was good, Wonka was not always treated well, and there were 7 villains, not just one! And they all worked together to keep Wonka down! But will Wonka be kept down? He cries a lot in the movie. And deservedly so. And he befriends Noodle, played by Calah Lane, who is doomed to be in the wash house for the rest of her days. There's a comedian down there, an accountant, a quiet girl and an engineer. Good people, just tricked by the Mrs. , played by Olivia Colman. Wonka is definitely a magician of sorts, but he has a love for chocolate. This is so interesting to see where he got his beginnings and the way he makes people feel along the way. And the Oompa Loompas....yes, they have their own island. Yes, they keep to themselves. The American Society of Magical Negroes

 I saw this movie and wanted more. I wanted more of the magical world. I wanted more adventure. I wanted higher stakes. I just wanted - more. A young black artist, Aren, fails to sell his yarn art. Bartender, Roger, notices this young man has a heart and invites him into the world of magic and friendship. Black people from all over the U.S. are in this magical community and they are taught to make sure white people are ok. Because if white people are ok, then black people can be ok. Aren decides to join this magical community and they get him a job. A really NICE job, next to his client: Jason. Aren needs to make sure Jason is ok. Work wise and life wise. And then there comes a woman, Lizzie. Aren met her first, and is smitten. But talking to Jason, Jason has had a crush on Lizzie for a while. The Fall Guy

 Wow! What a play on words! Not only is Colt Seavers, played by Ryan Gosling, a stunt man, a Fall Guy, but also in the movie he takes the blame for a murder he didn't commit! A Fall Guy! Well done! And for many movies and through his career he works with Jody, played by Emily Blunt, and they crush on each other but does anything ever happen? Is it regret for them both? Will they re-unite to save a movie? So much going on in this movie and so much action within action! The Action on the set and the action in the real world mix! And the best side kick I've seen in a long time, Dan Tucker, played by Winston Duke. He's amazing and on the side of right the entire movie! My husband is a big fan of the original "The Fall Guy" series and totally was in to the movie the entire time. He felt a lot of nostalgia with it and the movie played on all the old stuff.
