Minions 4

 It was so good to laugh again. This movie was just so silly! We meet up with Gru and the family and the new addition and a new foe: a former classmate who has a grudge on Gru! Something petty, too! And he's out to steal from Gru the one thing he loves so much! Gru and the family have to fight to get it back. Then there's the next door neighbors - and their daughter. Talk about evil!! In the meantime, the Minions are in training, especially 5 of them, and we have a new team to cheer on. Granted, they are not the BEST team to send out into the world, but, they have good hearts. This movie was so entertaining and so funny. The one-liners from both the humans and the minions are just classic. Over-all, though, the feel of Harry Potter is in this movie. It's not quite a mockery, but the elements are there. I'd recommend this to people who haven't seen any of the former Gru and Minion movies. This can stand on its own.

 yeah, I really enjoyed this! And not just because it had music! The story line was good, Wonka was not always treated well, and there were 7 villains, not just one! And they all worked together to keep Wonka down! But will Wonka be kept down? He cries a lot in the movie. And deservedly so. And he befriends Noodle, played by Calah Lane, who is doomed to be in the wash house for the rest of her days. There's a comedian down there, an accountant, a quiet girl and an engineer. Good people, just tricked by the Mrs. , played by Olivia Colman. Wonka is definitely a magician of sorts, but he has a love for chocolate. This is so interesting to see where he got his beginnings and the way he makes people feel along the way. And the Oompa Loompas....yes, they have their own island. Yes, they keep to themselves. The American Society of Magical Negroes

 I saw this movie and wanted more. I wanted more of the magical world. I wanted more adventure. I wanted higher stakes. I just wanted - more. A young black artist, Aren, fails to sell his yarn art. Bartender, Roger, notices this young man has a heart and invites him into the world of magic and friendship. Black people from all over the U.S. are in this magical community and they are taught to make sure white people are ok. Because if white people are ok, then black people can be ok. Aren decides to join this magical community and they get him a job. A really NICE job, next to his client: Jason. Aren needs to make sure Jason is ok. Work wise and life wise. And then there comes a woman, Lizzie. Aren met her first, and is smitten. But talking to Jason, Jason has had a crush on Lizzie for a while. The Fall Guy

 Wow! What a play on words! Not only is Colt Seavers, played by Ryan Gosling, a stunt man, a Fall Guy, but also in the movie he takes the blame for a murder he didn't commit! A Fall Guy! Well done! And for many movies and through his career he works with Jody, played by Emily Blunt, and they crush on each other but does anything ever happen? Is it regret for them both? Will they re-unite to save a movie? So much going on in this movie and so much action within action! The Action on the set and the action in the real world mix! And the best side kick I've seen in a long time, Dan Tucker, played by Winston Duke. He's amazing and on the side of right the entire movie!
