Argylle

It wasn't bad. In the beginning of this movie, I did not care for Elly Conway. She was meek, she was annoyingly simple and she carried her cat with her everywhere. Wasn't sure if the cat was real happy about that, and not having access to a litter box as needed, but later in the movie, I was ok with the cat. Elly's character got better as she showed her brains on the assignment and it saved her life. Aiden wasn't too bad: he was honest, he was smooth and he was trained. The comedy wasn't bad either. And lo and behold here comes Sam L. Jackson! I wanted to see more of him, but I did like his role as Alfred Solomon. Very cool dude! Ritter shocked me at every turn! The bad guy! The villain! And he was good at it! Very scary man! It was a nice surprise to see Catherine O'Hara as Elly's mom. She's a sweetie and she played her role very well. Overall, this 007-ish story was ok. A dream for every author that their stories come true and they are exciting and give them purpose. I, for one, will be seeking out the soundtrack.
