A Goofy Movie

um...Let's see. This movie was more about Max and Goofy, than just our iconic Goofy. This movie showed me that Max and Goofy don't listen to each other. The truth was told early in the movie, but they're not listening. And at one point Goofy didn't listen to the RIGHT people. And we all go through the teenage and pre-teenage years of white lies to people. Especially to people we like and love. It happens. It's a lesson. Max wants to impress Roxanne. Roxanne's dad is suspicious of Max, or really, any young man that has an interest in his daughter. Goofy wants quality time with his son, just like his dad had with him. He needs to open his eyes that Max has different priorities at this time in his life. If they just listened to each other, not talk, because there's plenty of that, but just listen to each other, this would have been a different movie. Maybe shorter. Over-all, this wasn't the best Disney movie I've seen. Maybe just not my cup of tea.

John Wick: Chapter 2

I totally enjoyed this movie. The action, the intensity, the back-stabbing, the rules. The rules, the rules, oh my God! There is order in chaos! So, yeah, John Wick refuses a marker from this guy and the guy blows his house up. Like, he does it on his own. He doesn't hire anyone else to do it, he does it himself. That's a baddie right there! And John finds him and they talk and he honors the marker. Damn. So, John kills the mark and then the baddie, Santino, puts a contract out on John Wick for 7 million. Dead. Damn. WTH? You just asked him to kill someone for you and just because it's your sister, you now want him dead? Men. SMH. So the rest of the movie is great, with John trying to stay alive and, before all this tomfoolery is going on, he makes sure that his dog, with no name, btw, is taken care of and is safe. That's the most important part of this movie. But yeah, lots of killing, lots of action, and the next best part, is John is NEVER WITHOUT A GUN! Good-boy! I

Red, White and Royal Blue

OMG I did love this movie! The love! So, poor Alex is in love with Henry and there are so many factors that could go wrong! The son of the President of the United States and this is all happening during the re-election phase! And the Royals of Great Britain have an image to protect, and a future they must look towards. How are they gonna keep this secret when there are reporters everywhere, especially one, who was dumped by Alex, and Alex has to hit the campaign trail for his mom! And Henry, with is duties in Great Britain and he has the spotlight wherever he goes! Thank God for Henry's sister, Beatrice, and Alex's secret service agent, Amy! These two keep the guys in line and try their best to keep their secret. It's a fun movie showing the beginning of love, the growth of love, and the complications of love in current society. This movie could have ended so many different ways, but a lesson was learned over-all in the end. This is definitely worth a watch!

Fast X

Whhhhaaaatt??? Ok, The ending was just....yeah, that was pretty good. I do like all the movies myself but Jason Momoa is so wickedly evil! And this is a two-part movie! He's not done yet! He's so evil and technology helps him control people. This is just insane! Dom is hunted by the son of his former enemy and Jason's character will not let up on revenge. Not at all. And so many characters from the past show up in this movie and it's just wicked! And the end credits? Who knew??? Who - Knew??? This movie is just crazy! And yes, there are cars, there are races, and family. This is all about family! Damn! And the music isn't bad either. All in all this was a nice ride into nostalgia. And yes, family is everything. Even the family we make.

The Little Mermaid (2023)

I'm actually glad that I took time to watch this. I am a true and die hard original animated Disney fan, so the soundtrack to the original animated "The Little Mermaid" sticks with me constantly. This movie surprised me. And pretty much set in the Caribbean. That does sound fitting for magical waters. Ursula - ok! Ok Ok I can do with this Ursula! Go Melissa McCarthy! The voice, the cadence, the look, the hand movements - even the bolero! Ok! I can definitely do with this villain! But Flotsam and Jetsam don't talk? Like, at all?  And Awkwafina...she's hysterical as Scuttle. I was apprehensive at first, cause I love the voice and cadence of Buddy Hackett, but Awkwafina adds her own twist to this. And "Scuttlebutt" - that's the song alright!  The queen is lovely! Very new and different addition to this tale. I like her.  I do miss the chef and "Les Poisson" song.  I like that Prince Eric had a song. It's not the best song for him, but I d
