The Gambler (1980)

I got to see this movie on DVD, but I've loved the song all my life. I'm pretty sure it's one of the first songs I've ever memorized, as my mother loved Kenny Rogers so much. He gets his wish and is taken away to the Communiverse where they mistaken him for the Leader of Ah-Earth. The challenge: to find a compromise with Lord Grigon so that he doesn't take the Communiverse by force. In all of this, he befriends Lord Grigon's son, Glordon. Will Elio complete a deal to save the Communiverse? Will the ambassadors figure out that Elio is not the Leader of Ah-Earth? Will Elio make it back home or will...
