Jingle All The Way

So this is the early days for Arnold and little Anakin and so many stars. Sinbad, Phil Hartman and Rita Wilson all did a great job. A husband who neglects his wife and son most of the year has to rush to find his son the doll he wants most: Turbo Man. But it's all sold out on Christmas Eve - what is Howard gonna do? He keeps running into Myron, a mailman, who is also looking for a Turbo Man doll, as he searches all over town for this doll. The final climax of the story comes when Myron has his son, his son has the doll and Howard, dressed as Turbo Man, has to get both his son and the doll back. The second twist to this story is Howard's wife, Liz, and the next door neighbor, Ted. Ted wants Liz, wants to replace Howard in her life. Liz doesn't get the hints. How far will Ted go to show Liz he is the better husband? It's definitely a holiday show. I noticed the Winter Parade included not only Christmas but Hanukkah and Kwanzaa in the mix. Very inclusive. Exmas

My husband, who loves holiday movies, found this one on Amazon Prime. A couple, who broke up 6 months before Christmas, find themselves together at the gentleman's house with his family. They invited her and didn't tell him. Now what? The bitter feud between these two is hilarious. We also travel along during Christmastime to find out more about his family and how she fits into their lives. Graham is wonderfully played by Robbie Amell and his love/hate interest, Ali, is played by Leighton Meester. My favorite character was Graham's dad, played by Michael Hitchcock. Very straight forward, very blunt, and very care-free. If anyone is looking for a decent rom-com, this is it. It's quirky and funny and serious and quick-witted. It's perfect for the season.
